Last Day of Royal Palace Cruise - 13 July - Maverick scribed by Lucy

Squuark! It's me Maverick the kakapo! Today is our last day aboard the Royal Palace Cruise, or as I call it, the S.S. Maverick. As we went on the cave the first day aboard the ship, we are now relaxing as the newcomers go to the surprising cave. We woke up to have the Buffet breakfast and John and Toni had coffee.  One of the guides showed the remaining people on the boat how to make spring rolls.

They wet dome rice paper, put in the filling and wrapped the spring roll professionally. Others did the same but not so professionally. Lucy's looks quite good, and James's was just a bit long. The best part was that they had a veggie spring roll reserved for me and the chicken, though the chicken just screamed then ate a crumb.

We then had lunch, it was really really yummy including spring rolls. Crunch, Slurp, Chomp.

After a couple exhausting hours of extreme relaxing we went on a small boat back to the mainland. Another hectic hour of extreme waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting... Until... The bus came. Another three hours of waiting in cramped seats on a hot, stuffy, bus.

What a relief to be back at the hotel! Finally a place where I can stretch my feather properly! We did some more extreme relaxing then it was time for dinner...

Yum yum yuuuuuum! Three words to describe dinner. Avocado, tomato, lettuce salad, chicken, strawberry ice cream and fizzy drinks. Another useful thing is decent internet where Toni and I can upload these blogs. The family is now relaxing in the lounge and I think this is a god note to end this blog on... Maverick, out Squaark!
