Mavericks First day in Phuket 27 June - Maverick scribed by Sam

Maverick the kakapo here, and today I'm in Phuket it is hot here like it is everywhere else. We got up and we relaxed for a few minutes umm maybe an hour but that doesn't matter because we got breakfast at 9.30. I and everyone else walked there unfortunately nobody knew the name. But the food was good I got a worm salad with lots of yummy bugs. Sam got an American breakfast same with James and Lucy. Toni and John got toast with fruit and coffee (James stole Toni's toast)


After walking home James me and Lucy went swimming while Sam did hip hop. A while later sam came back and said that James had to do Maths while Sam and Lucy swam with me carefully watching them. Then James came and said that she had to do ballet just so you know it's pronounced bal-ey not bal-et. Anyway since  James was slow at doing Maths he had to do it while Lucy did ballet (remember it's pronounced bal-ey). Because nobody believed I was a skilled life guard Sam had to go back inside with me. After James and Lucy where done we went to the beach.


The beach waves were amazing big and awesome. We walked for a while and found a place with decks chairs. Toni and John sat and watched us play in the waves they were massive and Toni came down and played in the waves with us and we would dive with the wave just before the wave fell. After that John came down and Toni went up and james got a bodyboard and we had goes with it and John went back up and they watched us for a while then we left and relaxed pretty much the whole time.

 What Sam failed to mention when he was writing for me was that we had a fantastic evening with David and Andi Pettigrew.  Toni worked for David and Andi in the UK for 7 years and was really happy to catch up with them.  A BBQ feast was had a long with a great catch up.  Hopefully we will see David and Andi in New Zealand before too long.
