Maverick in Hoi An 7 July - Maverick scribed by Sam

Getting ready
Maverick here.  I'm up early again to go biking.  The boys went swimming while I had a sleep in with Lucy. I don't know why we have to get up so early when we're having a holiday, but still we have to. Biking was fun.  When we were getting ready, we would play with the bells.  The bells could save your life, but could also be extremely annoying. So finally we were ready though there wasn't a small enough bike for Sam.  He had to sit on the back of Toni's bike so he had to keep balance.


Biking
As we set off it was fun and I could see lots of things.  There were lots of people selling things on the side of the road. We unfortunately didn't really know where we were going and kept having to look at the map. After a while biking we find a bridge. We go over the bridge and on the way over we saw a big orange fishing net, it was massive.   Unfortunately it had nothing in it. After a while of biking we decided to find somewhere to eat. Unfortunately we couldn't find anywhere so we kept on going but there was a massive stair case so we had to carry our bikes up while Sam got to walk up, but at least he helped Lucy.  Finally we got to the top of the staircase and Sam said he was going to run for a bit.  After five minutes he got back on the bike and we headed back to the Lam Hung hotel.

Swimming and movies and dinner
After we got back we decided to go to the beach with the surf board but unfortunately the waves were to rough for surfing but at least we had a great swim. The waves were fun to play in and the great lifeguard Maverick made sure nothing went wrong. John came is well (they still don't trust me). After a while of swimming we headed back and we watched two movies "Tomb raider2" and "Paper Planes". They were both great movies one is action packed and the other is really cool. After we watched those movies we went out to dinner the dinner was great Lucy got a chicken pizza and Sam had a four cheese pizza and I had a bug pizza. Sam and Lucy didn't finish their pizzas so we took them take away. Unfortunately Sam accidentally knocked over a glass. At least we didn't have to pay extra. After we left there were lots of people with flying spinning things and we found one stuck in a tree. Finally we get back and the family are looking forward to a nice long sleep.
